"Drawing inspiration from COS’s love of playful, modern design, New York-based practice Snarkitecture have created an interactive installation housed in the Gana Art Center, Seoul. Loop is a series of sinuous and suspended sloped tracks that curve through the gallery creating an array of uniquely kinetic moments as the visitor’s vantage point changes."
Beautiful, just what I need on a Saturday morning.

Interactive World City Populations Map 1950 - 2030
A very nice interactive world city populations map, past - future. I was surprised by the data from Amsterdam.
The Global Urban Transformation
This map visualises the radical transformation that has occurred across the globe in the last 60 years, from a 30% urban world in 1950, to a 54% urban world in 2015 and a predicted two-thirds urban world in 2050. In 1950 there were 740m people living in cities; there are now 4 billion, rising to a predicted 6.3b by 2050. The circles on the map are proportional to city populations in 1950, 1990, 2015 and 2030. Move your mouse over cities to explore their detailed dynamics. Data is from the UN World Urban Prospects.

Arcade Fire 'Sprawl II'
Arcade Fire is back with Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains). Do you want to dance in front of your webcam, go to the interactive video here.
"The idea is to affect the pacing of the film with your movements. You are invited to dance in front of your webcam. There is no specific rules, no complicated “minority report” tricks. Just an invitation to move your arms or your butt on the music. The quicker you move, the faster the frames play. You slow down, the caracters in the video slow down. You freeze and the video starts to loop on the beat, creating a new choreography in the choreography. It is also possible to interact with your mouse, in case you don’t have a camera or you want to switch from dancing to clicking."

The music video for Japanese band Sour‘s “Mirror” track, best viewed in Chrome or Safari, pulls in video from users’ webcam, Twitter and Facebook accounts.
