Pregnancy test for men - Too late for April 1st

A pregnancy test for men. Tempo thought about this, BBDO Italy made the commercial. I think it's a hoax. So if I understand correctly, you do the test with a special device, the man gets via a phone app the result and has to tell the woman. WTF! Did a man came up with this idea?

I did a test in the bathroom of my work, alone, because I was nervous it was positive. It was positive and guess what ... I didn't came out of the bathroom for 30min. Had to get a grip on myself again. Do you think I want to wait till the seeder comes over and tell me? Your whole life is upside down.

I know an easier solution. An 'old fashioned' pregnancy test when the both of you are home.

Robotic Swan from 1773

Yes, exactly, 1 7 7 3! The Silver Swan Automaton was created by the Belgian inventor John Joseph Merlin in collaboration with London inventor James Cox. Unbelievable. It looks kitsch to me but how it moves ... 1773! Wow. More info on the Smithsonian website.

Aposematic Jacket

'Aposematic Jacket' by Shinseungback Kimyonghun, is a wearable camera for self-defense. It's terrible to get mugged, but I don't think I'm going to wear something like this, only because it can happen. Cool technique though. Perhaps for uniforms? Detectives?

30 Years Of Tech

And we stay with TED and with MIT. Nicholas Negroponte takes us 30 years back in tech. A 30-year history of the future.

MIT Media Lab founder Nicholas Negroponte takes you on a journey through the last 30 years of tech. The consummate predictor highlights interfaces and innovations he foresaw in the 1970s and 1980s that were scoffed at then but are ubiquitous today. And he leaves you with one last (absurd? brilliant?) prediction for the coming 30 years.
