Font Men

Jonathan Hoefler or Tobias Frere-Jones, the Font Men. They "sell typefaces". They create them, they design them. Can I even go that far to say they make the brand?

Aerial Bold

Nice Kickstarter project. Aerial bold, a typeface of the earth.

Aerial Bold is the first map and typeface of the earth. The project is literally about "reading" the earth for letterforms, or alphabet shapes, "written" into the topology of buildings, roads, rivers, trees, and lakes. To do this, we will traverse the entire planet's worth of satellite imagery and develop the tools and methods necessary to map these features hiding in plain sight.

Sexy Typography

Very sexy. Don't forget to watch the video with music by Serge Gainsbourg, 'La Decadence' (ofcourse).

After giving Penguin’s classic ‘Kama Sutra’ book cover a makeover, London-based French designer Malika Favre decided to create a raunchy illustrated typographic series.

"Niels Shoe Meulman is filmed while making the 'Young Digging Old' logo. This logo was made for a Jumpstart Jr. project. Young musical talent was challenged to come up with their dream concert. Tim Mintiens made this film. He is also the brilliant photographer and chef art of all the Jumpstart talents"
