That's what I call a bluetooth speaker

Meet the ceramic bluetooth speaker Luciano, designed by Paolo Cappello for NEWBLACK. I bet it's loud and good. All of this for only $ 640 *sigh*.

The hi-fi collection by Ballfinger

These designs by Roland Schneider / Ballfinger are beautiful. The tape recorder reminds me of the one from Sony I had way back. Minimalistic. I'm curious about the sound.

The TubeCore Duo

Wow, this looks good. Stream the music! (Thanks Yam)

"The TubeCore Duo, currently fully-funded on Kickstarter, is a hybrid device in a hand-built hardwood cabinet. Primarily, it’s a hi-fidelity speaker, packing two 50-watt drivers and a subwoofer into a cabinet not much larger than a breadbox. The speaker is powered by a solid state amp and two single-phase vacuum tube pre-amplifiers. This aggressively analog system takes both old-school inputs and Bluetooth audio from your phone."

Good Old Thomas Edison

The first voice recording (and music) gets a digital replay. The recording was made in St Louis in 1878 on a sheet of tin foil on a phonograph invented by Thomas Edison.

Beats By Dr Dre

Nice video! Re-designed Studio headphones, Dr Dre. Absolute favorite of my 13y old daughter.

"For Holiday 2011 we have reinvented our first and most popular headphone, The Studio, in a spectrum of candy colors good enough to eat. Whether you choose blue, pink, orange, or green, we have the color that "is you.""

A Geeks Guide To Get Girls

This is episode 1 of Sony's A Geeks Guide To Get Girls. I so like the beginning of this video. It's a web series designed to promote its latest gadget, the SRS-BTV25 Bluetooth® wireless speaker for SmartPhone, iPhone and iPad.

You can find all on YouTube.
You can find them on Twitter.
And you can find them on Facebook.

Acoustable

As the digital revolution has made music more widely available, mobile and compact, so a good quality dock is essential.

The idea of an object which combines good acoustics with user-friendly ergonomics arises from these considerations.

The coffee table at the centre of the room becomes the sound system and the power terminal.

There are no visible technical elements, only the player and a remote which can both be stored in a built in pocket.

Acoustable is made from a polymer and mineral blend that combines the advantages of stone and plastic.

Its shape follows the natural curves of an elastic membrane which, like its sound, fills the space suggestively.
