A Night At The Garden - a 7 min documentary about American Nazi's in 1939

Director Marshall Curry gathered historical footage from various different archives to create the short film 'A Night at the Garden'. This disturbing and difficult film spotlights that night in 1939 when the German American Bund (Nazi) gathered at Madison Square Garden in the heart of New York City to proclaim their patriotism.

Please show this on schools.

Total eclipse of the sun memorial stamp

A commemoration stamp by the US Postal Service for the August 21st eclipse. An interactive one.

"In the first U.S. stamp application of thermochromic ink, the Total Solar Eclipse stamps will reveal a second image. Using the body heat of your thumb or fingers and rubbing the eclipse image will reveal an underlying image of the Moon (Espenak also took the photograph of the Full Moon). The image reverts back to the eclipse once it cools.

Thermochromic inks are vulnerable to UV light and should be kept out of direct sunlight as much as possible to preserve this special effect. To help ensure longevity, the Postal Service will be offering a special envelope to hold and protect the stamp pane for a nominal fee."

I don't have 'a bobbing adam's apple', perhaps that's the reason why I didn't have problems entering the US last summer. I expected to have a lot of delays, my daughter and me were making fun of it and agreed to not get impatient.

The reason? If I enter a festival, a themepark, a border, an airport et cetera here in Europe they always take me aside for a more thorough check. I once read an article on the rules here in the Netherlands. Security and police check people who act and look not like the mass. Conclusion: That's me!

This proofs also that different countries have different rules.
