The internet warriors by The Guardian

Creepy shit. This is a documentary by The Guardian about internet trolls. Angry people who make nasty remarks online. Do they only do it online?

I had to put the subtitles on, heavy dialect. And check 1:02, I don't think his wife is 100% English.

Very interesting.

"Why do so many people use the internet to harass and threaten people, and stretch the freedom of speech to its limits? Director Kyrre Lien meets a global group of strongly opinionated individuals, who spend their time debating online on the subjects they care most strongly about. Online platforms are their favourite tools to express the opinions that others might find objectionable in language that often offends. Do they behave in the same way when they come offline?"

After the #mannequinchallenge, new from the States: #bookbagchallenge

I'm figuring out what the fun of this is. The only things I came up with are
- you like pain
- you like watching bad video's where a person has pain
- you like watching bad video's where people hurt a person
- 30sec of fame

It's a challenge to keep up with all these challenges. #keepupwiththechallenges

I Don't Mind Waiting This Way

Downloading ... uploading ... we're spoiled. Nowadays it feels if it takes forever, looking at a bar that slowly progresses. This is the solution for being too impatient. Redesigned progress bars by Viktor Hertz.

Map Of The Internet

Just downloaded it for Android. It's free and looks good.

Peer 1 Hosting has created an interactive Map of the Internet app that lets users explore the internet’s infrastructure. The app displays a global view, a network view, and a chronological view that shows the evolution of the internet from 1994 to today and even predicts what the internet might look lie in 2020. The Map of the Internet app is available now for iOS and Android in the iTunes App Store and Google Play.
