Personalisation is the new mass communication

I went to a very interesting event last week, organized by ZX.YCN in Amsterdam: A Panel on Personalisation. In the panel were Tristan Thomas, Head of Marketing and Community at ‘bank of the future’ Monzo, Jonathan Chippindale, CEO of digital retail pioneers Holition, Jonna van den Dungen, CEO of predictive analytics tool StyleScript, and WeTransfer CMO Damian Bradfield.

I'm looking forward to their next event.

Read and watch here what we learnt.

(Yes ... indeed ... it's me)

No Pants Subway Ride 2012

Improv Everywhere has just announced that Sunday, January 8th will be the date for this year’s No Pants Subway Ride in New York City. You can RSVP on Facebook.

In addition to NYC, No Pants Subway Ride events are being planning around the world. Here’s how to register your city.

"The No Pants Subway Ride is annual event staged by Improv Everywhere every January in New York City. The mission started as a small prank with seven guys and has grown into an international celebration of silliness, with dozens of cities around the world participating each year. The idea behind No Pants is simple: Random passengers board a subway car at separate stops in the middle of winter without pants. The participants do not behave as if they know each other, and they all wear winter coats, hats, scarves, and gloves. The only unusual thing is their lack of pants."
