How the hell can you lose 280 miles of bike lane??!!

The UK did. They totally forgot about the 280 miles of protected bike lanes they build in the 1930s. Carl Reid found out by accident during the research for his new book Bike Boom.

Does #everylinecounts works?

UK's  National Crime Agency released this short video to get people off using cocaine. Do you think it works? VICE asked around. Result: no it doesn't work.

I don't know, I appreciate the different approach. And perhaps it will work with a small percentage of coke users. I hope it does.

Royal Mails tribute to David Bowie

For anyone outside of the UK (and there are a lot of us), take a look at these special David Bowie stamps. OMG it's already over a year ago since he passed away. Time flies. I like the part of the vinyl peeping out.

All six of them only for 11.30 UK Pounds.

Can we still watch old comedy sketches?

When I was checking out this post about the best UK comedy sketch of the '70s I found myself being impatient. Is this my state of mind at this moment? Or is it because we are used to everything fast nowadays?

I apologize for giving you two decisions to make.

London In 1927

"Incredible colour footage of 1920s London shot by an early British pioneer of film named Claude Frisse-Greene, who made a series of travelogues using the colour process his father William - a noted cinematographer - was experimenting with. It's like a beautifully dusty old postcard you'd find in a junk store, but moving.

Music by Jonquil and Yann Tiersen."
