Hidden mothers: In the Victorian times mothers hid behind veils for the long exposure Daguerreotypes of their kids. Creepy shit!

The post-mortem Daguerreotypes ... well, you can imagine what that was. A Daguerreotype of the deceased. These photo's were not as expensive as a painting. And to be honest, these photo's are very interesting to look at.
