Exactly what I was looking for - Industrial modern ‘Entreplanta Lighting’
I have a weird thing with lights, I only know what I don't want, what I want I can't describe, only 'industrial' ... mm mm. Well I opened this post and for the first time in months I thought: this is it. This is what I want in my living room.
The 'Entreplanta Lighting' are made of folded micro-perforated sheets, by designer Marta Ayala Herrera and architect Cito Ballesta.

Normally I don't like 'over-design' ... but ...
I love this Heng Balance Lamp. A Kickstarter project by Li Zanwen. It's simple / minimal, it's candy for the eye and the most important thing ... no staring into lightbulbs. I don't like the colored ones though but the wooden one is awesome. The last time I checked, 26 days to go, 1455 backers and way over 10.000 euro goal!

Concrete Is The New Black
I bought myself a kitchen last week, never did this before. Scary shit! And expensive. To be honest, I've made it expensive. I took one of the most expensive worktops, concrete. I instantly fell in love with it. The rest of the kitchen seemed less important to me after seeing and feeling it. Now I have to wait 2 months. That long??!! Yes, because of the worktop.
A friend did send me this, concrete lamps (thanks Esther) by Axel and Serge Van den Bossche. Very minimalistic, very grey, very nice. Who knows! Perhaps for the living / dining room.

Damned Lamp
This Damned Lamp by Luc Merx I like very much but I don't want it. Can you imagine coming home late at night and switching on the light!!! Scary!
"Designed by Dutch architect Luc Merx, the Damned.MGX chandelier was produced using additive layered fabrication as one piece. It appears as a hovering mass of writhing nudes – opulent and bombastic – and recalls the classical motif of the fall of the damned, challenging viewers with age-old questions of guilt and morality."

Big Brother Is Watching You
Pinokio lamp ... creepy awesome and funny. Makes me a bit nervous. As a toy it would work.

Pooping Dogs Lamps
Like!
Artist Whatshisname created these two lamps that portray pooping dogs, the bigger of the two dubbed Good Boy and the smaller dubbed Good Puppy. The switch to turn the bigger lamp on and off is actually the pile of curled poop found underneath the dog that you need to step on, so don’t you worry, the poop is practical. The artist states that both of the lamps were set to be part of the Art Below exhibition at London Underground stations, but were banned from the show due to being offensive.
