Out-Of-The-Box Way To Clean Up Your 'Fans'

I like this one. Burger King (Home of the Whopper) Norway had about 38.000 fans on Facebook. A lot of them were fan for the 'wrong' reason. They created the 'Sellout' campaign and gave each fan a choice. Or you are a real fan ... and got redirected to a new Facebook page, or you are a sellout. Banned for the rest of your life on the Facebook page of Burger King but as a reward you got a free Big Mac. A couple of weeks later: 30.000 'fans' lost, but left was a group Burger King could really target. Nice!
