Sorry Your Toe Got Needled

"Sorry To Hear Your To Got Needled" is part of a series of gloriously injurious animated short films called Get Well Soon. Based on a series of interviews the project has recorded some pretty amazing stories about personal injury. In this case Mrs Fox is interviewing Mr Bear about his "dramatic" impairment. We hear him talk about, well... scars, manliness, sexuality...and so on. It's beautiful rendition of hand drawn animation and stop-frame puppet animation taking you back to a postwar hospital where everything is possible. Directed by: Åsa Lucander.
