Form Follows Function - Citroen's Ami One Concept

Citroen celebrates its 100th anniversary with the Ami One Concept. All electric. Finally! Form follows function. I don't like all the electric cars which look like 'middle of the road' regular cars.

I like! I would drive it.

The future of the racing car, not F1 but T1

Here's the concept car by Tesla, the T1. It looks different than the F1 cars now but the basic shape is still the same. It's a pimped F1. The tires look very nice.

Aston Martin DB4 Zagato - I WANT!

Now this is a beautiful car. It's a rendering of the classic one by Martin Öberg. Look at the lines, the back lights and the front grill. The perfect car for me.

Alo ... a concept smartphone of the future

Alo ... Alo ... the smartphone of the future designed by Philippe Starck and Jerome Olivet together with Thomson. Voice activated and fits in the palm of your hand.
Only voice activated? I don't like screaming against an inanimate object, although, inanimate? "The outside is what they call a "gelatinous" self-healing material that provides haptic feedback to the user, including vibrations and heat".

Am I the only one who thinks of a sex toy when looking at these images?

Now I'm Confused

This is the Concept 1865 electric velocipede. Why? Can someone tell me what's the pro of having 2 different sizes of wheels? It's designed by DING3000 from Germany. In collaboration with BASF. A plastic bike that looks like an antique penny-farthing. Mmmm. It probably rides very good but it looks ugly.

Triumph Motorcycles Product Prototypes

"Working with reappropriated motorcycle components as their base materials,
young industrial designers developed a collection of home good prototypes
in a recent collaborative exhibition between Triumph Motorcycles
and the Birmingham Institute Of Art And Design."

Wow! I like! Especially the turn table. I hope these are going into production. Follow link to see more.
