This is a video essay, 'Blue Christmas'. Why are Christmas movies so depressing? Christmas, celebrating the death of light. Facing ones demons. For me? It's probably all of these. I hate Christmas. And especially at this moment, home alone, out of tissues, out of whiskey. How will I survive?
