Bob didn't do it better. Technically, he wasn't better. Bob was bankrolled better by the Kowalski's, and that's all. The only thing Bob could paint was landscapes. Bill Alexander could paint anything he felt like painting, and he did. As far as ability goes, Bill was far, far superior to Bob.
