Secrets & Facts Revealed About The Dualism Book
We decided to share with you few secrets & facts about The Dualism Book that we never told you before.
1- Many printers in the UK, the US and Europe refused to print The Dualism Book due its ambiguous photo content and fear of repercussion.
2- The earthquake in Child last March 2010 caused much trouble in the paper market because Chile is the main paper provider for the publishing industry, which made it very hard to find the special type of paper that was chosen for the book and made it more expensive.
3- The book release date was set on the 14th of June 2010, however, due the above obstacles, the book was not in print production until 1st of june.
4- When tried to put limited number of the book in the art book stores, the book was rejected because of it is photo content.
5- The book is printed in limited number and not in mass, furthermore, the publishing industry as we know it will become almost instinct in the near future, therefore, hard copy books will become a luxury rather than a necessity, consequently, The Dualism book value, especially the signed copies, is going to be very high.
6- The book is printed by Litho original printing prints using printing blades and not digitally printed.
7- The Dualism photographic art work is all done on film by old manual camera, without even using a flash.
8- Claire De Rouen, the oldest art books specialist in the UK, said that the dualism bok is the first of its kind and genre.
9- The BBC said about the book: “Frisson of something dangerous and unexpected in the air. A meeting of Tod Browning’s freaks, Russ Meyer and David Lynch. We are all for the intensity and ambivalence in the art”
