"Lisa Jardine decides to examine the side of her father's life he kept secret from her.
Her father was Jacob Brownowski, who ranks just behind Attenborough in terms of uncorrupted and trusted television personalities. Behind his pleasing television persona, Brownowski calculated the bombardment patterns that yielded maximum damage to the cities of Germany.
Add this hidden bloodiness to Jardine's inferiority in relation to her father, and it's an hour of tense television. There's about ten minutes of flock at the beginning, but it gets good.
Original airdate: 9 December, 2010"
