Peace Shadow

"The Peace Shadow Project, an interactive online campaign campaigning for a world without nuclear weapons, was recognised with the Grand Lotus at the Asia Pacific Advertising Festival (Adfest) on March 18-19, 2011. Inspired by a visit to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum as a child, Tatsuo Miyajima later in life gathered together a group of fellow artists to develop an online movement focused on the shadows left by victims of the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The site includes photography and stories of survivors, and provides visitors with an opportunity to use their webcams to contribute their own shadow, signature and message."
