Limited edition instax mini Evo FUJIFILM 90th Anniversary Bundle
Want! 90 years ago Fujifilm was founded. Because of this milestone they've released a limited edition instax mini Evo Fujfilm camera. I like the design. Difficult to choose or Dark Silver, or Titanium Gold. I like them both.
The camera comes in a premium-finish package with limited-edition strap, lens cap and camera case.
World in Dots
Create a map of the world or a country in dots. I really don't know why, but I love it.
I've created the Netherlands with a customized red background and 'square dots'. It resembles a 'what do you see first' picture: the Netherlands or the head of a woman.
A very basic one would be:
A Kind of Bloop - too cute to be blasphemy
It's the 15th anniversary of A Kind of Bloop, a chiptune tribute to Miles Davis' Kind of Blue, a track-by-track 8-bit reinterpretation of the bestselling jazz album of all time.
Can't stop smiling.
Who doesn't like aggressive clicking
Choose the Moon or the Sun and start clicking. Honestly ... I couldn't stop 😄. For your information, I'm a moon person myself.

WTF! What happened with using ones brain? or The five laws of stupidity
How stupid can you be. A British man carved his family’s initials onto one of the historic walls in Pompeii. He had carved three sets of initials, his own, and those of his two daughters, onto the wall. He had also written out the date: August 7, 2024. Why? He wanted to leave behind a record of his family’s trip to the ancient city.
"Under a new Italian law, visitors who deface monuments can face steep penalties of up to €40,000 (nearly $44,000)—and up to €60,000 for more serious acts of destruction. The government can use the proceeds from these fines to repair the damage."

It's not unique. 2 months ago a dutch tourist used a permanent marker.
To brush up your knowledge about stupidity:
From an essay by Professor Cipolla (1976) in which he describes the fundamental laws of a force he preceived as the greatest existential threat to humanity: stupidity.
Law 1: Everyone always and inevitably underestimates the number of stupid people in circulation
Law 2: The probability that a person is stupid is independent of any other characteristic of that person.
Law 3. A stupid person is a person who causes losses to another person or group of people when he or she does not benefit and may even suffer losses.
Law 4: Non-stupid people always underestimate the destructive power of stupid individuals.
Law 5: A stupid person is the most dangerous type of person.

One of the greatest drummers of all time
Gene Krupa is one of the greatest drummers of all time. He would fit perfectly in the Sex Pistols!
Wow!!!!!
No 8 Perfume by Hellmann's and Will Levis - now I'm curious
The Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis is well known for his love for mayonnaise. He is already the spokesman for Hellman's mayonnaise. They created No 8 Parfum de Mayonnaise ... there's even a website where you can buy it, but it's sold. So ... it is a joke? A smart marketing move? Or is it real? I don't know, you tell me.
I like mayonnaise too but Will Levis takes his love to another level, as seen on TikTok:
@will_levis Yes, this is real life I’m a #HellmannsPartner. If y’all know me, you know I put @hellmannsmayonnaise ♬ original sound - Will Levis

Wow! Another word I've never heard of - Knolling
Knolling is named after furniture company Knoll. Frank Gehry designed chairs for them.
Love to watch but I'm too impatient to do it.

Never take a drug to calm you nerves when you're a drummer
Who heard of Scot Halpin? I didn't. Formerly drummer with the Who ... for 3 songs ... in 1973. Keith Moon took a drug to calm his nerves and collapsed during their concert. "Can Anybody Play The Drums"? 19 Year old fan Scot was the knight in shining armour and saved the last 3 songs.
Is this news?
Lethonomia - Loganamnosis - huh?

WTF?! For someone living in the Netherlands this is weird ... or is it our future? If you are an adult and visiting / living in a southern state in the US you can give this ammunition vending machine a try ... at the local grocery store. I already imagine the grocery lists.

100,000+ 'Copyright-Free' Images
Nice website! Public.Work “an image search engine that boasts 100,000 ‘copyright-free’ images from institutions like the NYPL, the Met, etc. It’s fast with a relatively simple interface and uses AI to auto-categorize and suggest possibly related images (both visually and content-wise). And it’s fun to just visually click around on related images.”
Intense iconic photo's from history
In the 80s (OMG!!!! As the T-shirt says 'It's weird being the same age as old people') I worked for the largest international press agency in the Netherlands, ABC Press. Office was in the red light district. Pre-computer. Every morning there was a courier with a pile of mostly A4 photo's with fun paparazzi stuff but also disasters, war et cetera et cetera. A lot of photo's which I cannot 'unsee' anymore. And we had a huge archive, photo's in boxes. Historic photo's. We also represented Magnum Photo's. Can you imagine that a photographer was in a dangerous war zone and there was somebody who smuggled the filmrolls out of the country ... went to Paris ... develop the roll ... edit the photo's and send it out to their representatives.

Figure 01 & 02 - the first general-purpose AI humanoid
Wow! It looks good and creepy at the same time. Probably we just have to get used to it. And that's started already, R2-D2, C-3PO, Sonny from I, Robot.
"Figure 02 is AI-powered and self-reliant, ready to produce an abundance of affordable, more widely available goods and services to a degree which humanity has never seen."
