How silly it may look, but there's always hope. This Greenhouse Helmet is invented and patented in 1986 by Waldemar Anguita (Brooklyn, NY). Yes, patented.

"A principle object of the present invention is to provide a greenhouse helmet designed to contain plants secured within and the helmet worn completely over the head of a person so that the person can breathe in the oxygen given off by the plants.

Another object is to provide a greenhouse helmet that has air filters so that ambient air containing carbon dioxide will be filtered therethrough and mixed with the carbon dioxide breathed out by the person to be used by the plants.

What is it with resolution lists, minimalism, getting things organized??

I did a lot of reading just now about this subject. New Year resolution lists, getting organized, simplify, minimalism, de-clutter. But you know what? Besides the de-clutter thing I get very nervous with all these things.

Am I the only one who probably gets a burn-out or at least is getting very unhappy when you know what's going to happen next?

Everybody has a routine, even me ... I'm not a morning person. I have my 'walk' after waking up during the week, going to work. Coffee, shower (sometimes coffee in the shower), email ... if something happens out of the routine I'm running around like a zombie. But for the rest? I'd rather not have a routing or a list.

Declutter I try and I must agree, it's better. The only nasty thing is after de-clutter I can't find anything anymore.
Lists? The only thing it brings me is stress. Oh f**k I didn't do this ... I''m a loser, I haven't done that!

I'd rather live. Period. And see what happens. Often it's something shitty ... solve it. Sometimes is nice ... enjoy it.

16th Century map of the world

In 1587, Italian cartographer Urbano Monte completed a world map with a unique perspective. Rather than drawing the Earth on a rectangular sheet, as many maps are displayed today, Monte drew the world on 60 different pages, and left instructions for how they should be displayed as if a viewer were looking down on the globe from the North Pole.

The decorated map depicts a world populated by mythical creatures, including unicorns, centaurs and mermaids.

The earth is hollow

And in the earth lives superior humans: Vikings, and Nazis live in paradise at the center. These residents of the core frequently send UFOs, via holes in the North and South poles, to spy on us surface dwellers in an attempt to prevent a nuclear war.

This is BLOOT’s refurbished ‘house overveen’ in the Netherlands. Beautiful! It's on a sloped terrain ... we have this also in Amsterdam, for example de Vondelstraat. Put it over there and I could live here.

The only minus for me ... the glass floors ... creepy!!!!
