TinyRobots by Andreea Strete

I'm very picky with jewelry, but this is cute. Necklaces created by recycled electronics. And the TinyRobots aren't even that expensive.

Ricardo Bofill has the best house ever!

In 1973 Ricardo Bofill bought a closed down cement factory just outside Barcelona. Now, 45 years later, 'La Fabrica' is the best house ever! It looks like a cathedral, a castle. But ... industrial.

Do robots deserve rights?

This is a very good question. Perhaps we are already too late with wondering.

Prrrrrrr ... Aston Martin Vantage Red Bull Racing Edition

Keep the team signatures, just give me the car. I don't care if it's the V8 or the V12. I like my Aston Martins grey but this blue is okay.

Fluffy sneakers from Reebok

I can't decide if I think they're cute or scary. Let's say they're different, and expensive, $284, an only available at a select group of retailers.

Official name: Instapump Fury.

Interactive World City Populations Map 1950 - 2030

A very nice interactive world city populations map, past - future. I was surprised by the data from Amsterdam.

The Global Urban Transformation
This map visualises the radical transformation that has occurred across the globe in the last 60 years, from a 30% urban world in 1950, to a 54% urban world in 2015 and a predicted two-thirds urban world in 2050. In 1950 there were 740m people living in cities; there are now 4 billion, rising to a predicted 6.3b by 2050. The circles on the map are proportional to city populations in 1950, 1990, 2015 and 2030. Move your mouse over cities to explore their detailed dynamics. Data is from the UN World Urban Prospects.

A man and his 85kg turban

Wow! 85kg!! 645 meters of fabric! It takes 6,5 to 7 hours to tie the turban.

Bhai Baba Avtar Singh Mahakaal is a Sikh. For a Sikh the turban is very important. I'm impressed.

I love low budget commercials

Michael Minions has a playlist on YouTube with low budget commercials from the 1980s. I couldn't stop checking them out.

The Lemon Twigs 'I wanna prove to you'

The Lemon Twigs with 'I wanna prove to you' from their new album Do Hollywood.

Whiskey or Whisky

I always thought that it depended on English English or US English. But no, if it's spelled with an 'e' then it was made in Ireland or the US, if it's spelled without an 'e' then it was made in Canada, Japan or Scotland. Is this differnce still used? I don't know. But I know I like it. (Hold the ice)

Song made from a unicorn drawing

Awesome! YouTube star Andrew Huang created this piece of music from a unicorn drawing. I'm curious what kind of music comes from a drawing made from me :).

For me this is a must-have: The Cold Bruer

I like coffee. I need my double espresso in the mornings. And sometimes I buy a large caramel macchiato at Starbucks, just because I deserve it. What I also like is very good vanilla ice cream with espresso poured over it, mmmmmmmmm. And in the summer ofcourse ice coffee, but how do you make it? Espresso ... ice cubes. Mwa. Guess what I found the Cold Bruer! The description:

"Technological innovation comes to bear on the first and most import thing of the day: a cup of coffee. The Cold Bruer cold brews coffee over several hours to minimize acidity and bitterness while emphasizing the underlying complexity of each kind of coffee bean. Interlocking glass chambers allows ice water to slowly percolate through the coffee, according to a drip rate you set on an adjustable valve. Best of all, because of its low acidity, cold brew coffee is good for up to two weeks in the fridge!"

A real must-have for $ 80.

David Bowie Memorial project - Their suggestion and my suggestion

David Bowie was born in Brixton, London. The organisers of the David Bowie Memorial Crowdfunder campaign presented the ZiggyZag from Aladdin Sane. It's an option, I agree, it's the most well known one. But looking at it, 9 meters tall, mm, in between the houses. I don't know. Another option would be the Blackstar one. I like that one very much. We will see. At this moment they have 22 days to go, 563 supporters, and £44,183 raised of £990,000 target. If you pledge £20 or more your name will be on the memorial website. One minute of fame.

My suggestion:

Apple’s iTunes Terms and Conditions as a comic book - Perhaps people will read them

Nice one. R. Sikoryak turned Apple's iTunes T&C's into a comic book including a Steve Jobs character. Perhaps every company need to do that and give it with the purchase, perhaps people will read them instead of clicking I Agree.

Fancy camping anyone?

Friends know that I've never been the camping outdoor type. I did it ofcourse, lack of money, but it's not my favorite kind of vacation. Arriving at a camping ground, trying to figure out the tent, insects ... But with this AirOPUS inflatable trailer tent I can see myself going on a camping trip. It's not on the ground (insects) and it's inflatable. Cool!
