I was talking to a friend last week who told me that within 5 or 10 years the 'happy few' can by an adroid, a robot looking like a human with 'human' skin.
Fortunately I'm not part of the 'happy few'. Did you ever look at the vegetarian section of the meat department in the supermarket? I never understood this, why make fake meat? As a vegetarian you don't want to eat meat, I understand. So you're a vegetarian and you have to go to the meat department in your supermarket to get fake meat, fake meatballs, fake hamburgers. Why?!
I have the same problem with android robots. First I thought I was being old fashioned. But it's not that, I like gadget, I like technology, I like 'new' things. But to have another human in the house who isn't a human, I have a big problem with that. I don't like it, it's creepy.
I wonder if it's going to be possible to customize it. I like surprised, I like unexpected things to happen. I don't like to have a very organized thing in the house. I only want to use it to clean, do the laundry and sometimes cook. And I want it to look like R2D2 or the android logo. I want it to look like a robot.
Would that be possible? But more interesting ... am I the only one who thinks like this?

Art In The Digital Age
A very interesting subject on Crane.tv. This is part two about 'ownership' of art in this digital age.
Artists are using the internet as a creative platform at every stage of the creative process from inspiration right through to promotion. Galleries are moving online, platforms are popping up where you can buy digital art and with the rise of online pin boards and visual blogs, anyone can now curate their own individual online galleries. We speak to six experts including New York- based digital artists Reed+Rader, Lousie Shannon - Acting Head of Contemporary at the V&A, James Davis - Program Manager at Google Art Project, Shane Walter - Founder of onedotzero and digital designers Keiichi Matsuda and Nazareno Crea to uncover how digital is shaking up the art world. In Part Two we debate the pros and cons of patenting digital art in an age of open source and sharing, explore the idea of 'ownership' and look at what the future holds for digital art.

Male Models
If you follow this blog you will know I'm not really into regular fashion and super models. But have I found a nice Tumblr blog Male Model World. Very refreshing if you compare it to the standard super models and half naked male models photography. Nice photography, cute male models. What do you want more.
This blogger from the Netherlands, a 14y old girl named Micky Puck van Dartel, has also a fashion blog with the inviting name Fashion F*cker. Also worth checking.
