Ken Block Gymkhana Practice

Adrant's blog: 'This Video Has Been Viewed Every 4 Seconds Since It Went Live'.
Never heard of the word Gymkhana

I was curious, thinking at the same time: I'm not going to blog a hype, I'm not going to blog a hype ...

Well here it is. And the only thing I can say is: Wow

Beauty Affects Men's and Women's Brains Differently

Interesting article, research. But I miss the definition of beauty. Beauty as in ointments, massages. Beauty as in paintings (see image with article). Beauty is very subjective and ofcourse determined also cultural. A person can be beautiful, a character can be beautiful, a work of art can be beautiful, a landscape can be beautiful

PigeonKam!

A friend of mine was watching the 'The 30-Second Bunnies Theatre Library' on AngryAlien. I knew them already, bunny's re-acting a famous movie in 30 sec. From the first moment I saw one of these clips I was starting to doubt my own sense of humour. I didn't even smile.

But this cartoon is also on this website. The PigeonKam! ... and sorry ... I couldn't stop laughing

Fizy (music search engine)

You probably know the feeling. There's a song in your head and you remember just one sentence ... and ... guess what ... this sentence isn't the title of the song. It happened to me once. I went to all cd shops in Amsterdam and sang the song. It was quite new and there was only one guy who knew what I meant. I forgot the title of the song :), but it was from Dinosaur Jr.

Here's a cute search engine. Type in a sentence and voila. Results in hyperlinks.

Microsoft IE 8

This is ridiculous. There's a list which is called 'Microsoft’s IE 8 incompatibility list: 2,400 major sites (and counting)'. Rumour is Microsoft created this list themselves. On it are Microsoft.com, Google.com, Hyves.nl, Facebook.com, Wikipedia.org, YouTube.com et cetera et cetera.

Take a look at the list and you find out that with IE 8 you have yourself the latest browser from Microsoft with which you can't go on the internet :).

Wealthy Men Give Women More Orgasms

This is a very nice article. But I don't agree with something. The author is only talking about female gold-diggers, which exist, I agree (like male gold-diggers). I guess a female gold-digger's orgasm is as fake as that person.
What about attention, dinner, et cetera. Yes male readers, this is foreplay and foreplay for a woman can already start when the appointment to have dinner is set :))

Ton de Wit Garage & Keurbedrijf

I'm happy again. Lost my last car key almost a month ago. I still think Cookie, the youngest tostestoron cat got it, played with it and dropped it somewhere. I had to go around Amstelveen and Amsterdam by public transportation. And that's not one of my fav things to do.
At first ofcourse I called the dealer of the car. Without even a pause the guy on the phone said: "That's going to cost you at least euro 1.500,-- and you will have to take care of how to transport the car to us".
Friends send me some websites from company's 'solving' every problem with your car keys. Half of them I called and I didn't even understand what they were saying. The other half talked about 'perhaps', 'perhaps', 'perhaps' ... 'but we can't promis anything, first you will have to transport the car to us'.
Finally (BTW why finally? Why didn't I call them earlier? Stupid) I called my old garage, Ton de Wit, in Oostzaan. He called me back 10 min later and solved everything for me. Got a key from the importer, transported the car to the garage, and ... guess what ... this morning I was picked up by a collegue to transport me to the garage to pick up my car.

APPLAUS

So, anybody reading this in or around Amsterdam, in need of a good garage: Ton de Wit (and yes, ofcourse you can name me ... :))) ... )
